The beauty of Quintandona’s landscape and architecture stand out upon arrival. Full of history, the village belongs to the parish of Lagares and to the municipality of Penafiel, being close to the urban centres, which does not prevent it from preserving all the tradition. Its architecture is unique: the buildings of the village use three different materials: granite, schist and blackboard, which give it a very distinctive personality.
